Nadia is the Chief Knowledge Officer of the firm and Head of African Operation. She has 19 years of experience in facilitating systems and organization change, leadership development, cross-cultural training, executive coaching and communication. She has worked with large and small teams, young professionals, change agents, managers from the hospitality sector, European Union Civil Servants, UN employees, female senior-level managers from corporate and not-for-profit organizations, Asian entrepreneurs, donor groups, entrepreneurs, artisans, members of networks, and teams from diverse backgrounds in the rural and urban settings of Africa to engage in peace building, leadership development and capacity building processes and retreats. She is committed to the conscious development of individuals, organizations and systems for a sustainable and equitable Africa and beyond.

A 2014 TEDx Addis speaker, Nadia’s current and former clients include UNDP, Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Dean Foster Associates (DFA), the International Rescue Committee (IRC), the British Council, the Institute of International Education (IIE), the Great Ethiopian Run, PACT, the European Union (EU), the David & Lucile Packard Foundation – Ethiopia, Awash Wine S.C., Jupiter International Hotel (JIH), Heineken Ethiopia, and Sabahar P.L.C., for whom she has designed, delivered and evaluated long-term leadership development programmes. She enjoys working in multi-cultural contexts, creating spaces for authentic conversations and personal shifts, where reflection and action are combined.

Nadia has co-founded and managed the Center for African Leadership Development (CALD), providing consultancy and leadership development services in Africa, co-founded Generating Transformative Change (GTC) – Africa, and served as a Communication Specialist for the International Organization for Migration (IOM). She is a former Executive Committee member of the Association of Women in Business (AWiB), a founder of the ‘Interfaith Peace building Initiative – Ethiopia’, and has served as an International Practitioner-Coach for the UNDP Global Leadership Development Programme for HIV positive women and girls.

Background
Nadia has a degree in History with Literature (Exeter University, UK), of a postgraduate certificate in Organizational Development Consultancy (‘Generating Transformative Change’) from the Leadership Institute in Seattle, through Saybrook Graduate and Research Institute, USA. She is a Certified Management Consultant (Ethiopian Management Institute), and a Feedback Coach, as an Associate of the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) as well. Nadia has also completed the ‘StAGES in-depth’ work in adult stages of development at Pacific Integral, and is currently training to become a certified scorer/analyst. She is fluent in English, Italian and Amharic.
